Eight fair brackets and both validity conditions
One spin draws eight independent fair binary choices. Zero maps to an opening bracket and one maps to a closing bracket. Start balance at zero; an opening bracket adds one and a closing bracket subtracts one. A sequence qualifies only if every prefix balance is nonnegative AND its final balance is zero.
For a qualifying fully balanced sequence, raw score is its largest prefix balance: maximum nesting depth. If any prefix is negative or final balance is nonzero, raw score is zero. One whole captured stake covers the entire eight-bracket sequence, without separately paid rows.
Check prefix balance and final closure
The sequence()()()() is fully balanced, never goes negative and has maximum depth one, so raw score is one. The sequence(((()))) is fully balanced with maximum depth four, so raw score is four. The sequence))))(((( ends at zero but has negative prefixes, so scores zero.
The sequence(((((((( has nonnegative prefixes but final balance eight, so scores zero as well. Both validity conditions are necessary. The computer scores the full random sequence; the player does not rearrange brackets or choose when to cash out a partially revealed string.
Exact256-string means and whole-stake credit
Eight independent fair bits give256 equally likely ordered bracket strings. Choose Low, Medium or High before spinning. Positive raw depths receive square-root, identity or square weighting respectively; zero remains zero. These weights are not final payout multipliers.
For each mode calculate its exact mean weight over all256 strings, including invalid zero-score strings. Gross credit is the captured whole stake times0.96 times observed weight divided by that mean. Every mode has 96% exact expected gross virtual return, with one whole-sequence return and no row-stake shares.
The stake was deducted before settlement, so gross credit is not net profit. Modes change positive credits after separate normalisation while preserving positive-score frequency. Neither 96% nor balanced brackets guarantee a session outcome or represent a 96% winning probability.
Captured rounds and the persisted wallet
A new browser wallet starts with 1,000 free virtual coins. Settled balance and fractional-credit carry persist in localStorage. Reload does not replenish settled funds. Fractional returns accumulate before whole coins are credited rather than being discarded each spin.
A spin captures one total stake and mode for its complete eight-bracket sequence. Settings and refill lock during settlement and an active automatic queue. Auto runs at most ten rounds; Stop prevents future rounds while an already active spin settles. Optional free refill is available only while idle with balance below ten. It sets balance to 1,000 and preserves fractional carry. Coins cannot be bought, transferred, redeemed or withdrawn.
Local storage and third-party requests
Browser localStorage keeps the settled virtual balance and fractional-credit carry. Pages request Google Fonts and a Statinside analytics script. Hosting, CDN and third-party requests may expose IP address, browser, device, path and request details. No anonymity, particular retention period, cookie lifetime or complete processing profile is established.
This guide has no registration or identity-document form. That does not mean browsing produces no personal data or that records cannot be linked to someone. Cache clearing alone may leave localStorage intact. Removing site data can erase the wallet without deleting requests or records already held elsewhere. Free refill changes local game state; it is not a data-deletion tool.
Frequently asked questions
Does this guide represent a manufacturer or casino?
No. It supplies its own simulator and authenticates no outside commercial affiliation.
How are brackets generated?
Eight independent fair bits map zero to opening and one to closing brackets.
Which two conditions make a sequence valid?
Every prefix balance must be nonnegative and the final balance must equal zero.
What does a valid sequence score?
Its maximum prefix balance, which is maximum nesting depth.
What is the score of()()()()?
One. It is fully balanced with maximum depth one.
What is the score of(((())))?
Four. It is fully balanced with maximum depth four.
Can final balance zero alone qualify?
No. The sequence))))(((( has negative prefixes and scores zero despite final balance zero.
Can nonnegative prefixes alone qualify?
No. The sequence(((((((( has final balance eight and scores zero.
Are there separately staked rows or cashout?
No. One whole captured stake covers the complete sequence and its terminal return.
How many equally likely strings exist?
256, from two independent choices at each of eight positions.
